What is a Polynucleotide (PDRN)?
It’s a nucleotide polymer derived from highly purified Salmon DNA. Salmon DNA is very similar to our own. It contains deoxyribonucleotides, the building blocks of DNA. Polynucleotides (full name Polydeoxyribonucleotides) the shortened name is PDRN. Polynucleotides are long chains of nucleotides that make up DNA and RNA molecules. They are unique because they contain sequences of different bases (adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine/uracil) that carry genetic information and play a crucial role in various biological processes.
How can Polynucleotides (PDRN) improve the skin?
PDRN’s are a powerhouse to the skin; by stimulating cell to cell communication and growth factors they stimulate cell growth and tissue repair. More skin cells = thicker skin = smoother skin with reduced lines and wrinkles. PDRN’s make the cells turn back time and behave like younger cells that know ‘exactly what to do’.
Niacinamides are anti-inflammatory, antioxidants and help to control sebum. They can improve dark spots and open pores and improve hydration.
Hyaluronic acid (HA). HA can bind up to 1000 times its weight in water! In other words, it functions as a humectant and holds water molecules in the skin keeping it plump and youthful.
